About FoundYourVenture

A startup mentor for your first steps.

Have an idea but feel unsure what to do next? Fivy, your startup mentor, helps first-time founders understand their assumptions, talk to real customers and turn evidence into decisions.

You bring the idea and do the real-world learning. Fivy explains why each action matters, helps you review what you learned and guides you through the business journey. FoundYourVenture guides your decisions; it does not build apps, websites or products for you.

Startup glossary
Hypothesis
A belief you can test, such as which people have a problem.
Evidence
What people actually said or did. Keep the original observations separate from your interpretation.
Target customer
The specific group you choose to help first.
Value proposition
The useful result someone gets from your offer.
Validation basics

Write down your riskiest belief. Choose a small real-world task that could show it is wrong. Record what happens, including disappointing results. More relevant independent observations produce stronger evidence; missing proof stays explicit in your result. Avoid spending heavily or building a full product before you understand the problem.

How to interview customers
  1. Choose people who may face the problem and ask permission to take notes.
  2. Ask about the last time it happened: “What did you do? What was difficult?”
  3. Explore their current workaround, time spent and actual purchases. Avoid pitching or leading questions.
  4. Record specifics and contradictions. “I like it” is weaker than observed behavior.
  5. Save each real conversation in your interview task, then review patterns with Fivy.
How FoundYourVenture works

Enter your idea, review Fivy’s hypotheses and correct anything that is wrong. Work through one important gap at a time, save real evidence and review what changed. Idea Validation ends with a result you can improve, finalize and export. Ask Fivy whenever a term is unclear; help changes validation only when you explicitly add an insight.
