What this service stores

FoundYourVenture uses your account email, display name and sign-in identity to save your ventures. Venture content includes ideas, founder answers, notes, tasks, interview records, research sources and generated guidance or reports.

Why this information is used

Your information supports sign-in, restoring your work, generating startup guidance and protecting the service against abuse. Fivy is an assisted startup mentor. Relevant venture information and questions are sent to our server-side guidance provider to prepare responses. Future research features may also use web search when they are enabled.

Service providers

Firebase provides authentication, database storage and backend functions. Our server-side guidance provider processes requests sent by our backend. The website hosting provider processes requests needed to deliver the site. Operator review must confirm provider terms, processing locations, retention and any additional services before launch.

Browser storage and guest work

Guest ventures and recovery copies are stored on the browser you use. Signing in saves eligible guest work to your account. Browser storage also remembers whether you have met Fivy. Clearing browser data can remove unsynced work and preferences. Use a private device for sensitive venture information.

Interviews and sensitive information

Use participant descriptions instead of full names where possible. Obtain permission to record what someone shared. Do not submit passwords, payment details or information you do not have permission to share.

Access, deletion and questions

You can review and delete ventures and notes using their controls. Earlier evidence versions may remain inside a venture to explain changes until that venture is deleted. For account deletion, access requests or privacy questions, use Contact & support. Backup retention and request-handling periods must be set by the operator before launch.

Updates

This notice will be updated when the service or its data practices change. The date above identifies this draft.
